Christmas in Homestead
Thursday at 8 p.m. on HALL
An A-list actress (Taylor Cole,
“The Originals”) travels to the
Christmas-obsessed town of
Homestead, Iowa, to shoot a
holiday-themed movie. During
her stay, she is surprised to
find herself romantically drawn
to Matt (Michael Rady, “Un-
REAL”), a local innkeeper and
single dad. As filming contin-
ues, she starts to recognize the
charms of small-town life and
discovers the true meaning of
Christmas in this new yuletide
romance.
Frosty the Snowman
Friday at 8 p.m. on KVAL
In this animated classic, Jackie
Vernon provides the voice of
Frosty, the legendary snowman
with a corncob pipe and a but-
ton nose. Frosty comes to life
when a magician’s hat lands on
his head. With the help of chil-
dren, he heads for the North
Pole before he melts — but he’s
pursued by the magician, who
wants his hat back. Billy De
Wolfe supplies the voice of the
magician, and Jimmy Durante
narrates the tale. The sequel
“Frosty Returns” follows im-
mediately.
Dolly Parton’s Christmas of
Many Colors: Circle of Love
Wednesday at 9 p.m. on KGW,
KOBI
A sequel to last year’s high-rated
“Coat of Many Colors,” this new
drama movie continues the saga
inspired by a song by Parton,
who’s an executive producer
here. Jennifer Nettles, Rick Sch-
roder and (as the young Dolly)
Alyvia Alyn Lind all return as the
members of the rural Tennessee
family who face new challenges,
including a holiday blizzard and
the patriarch’s financial struggles
to give his wife a proper wedding
ring. Co-star Gerald McRaney
also is back.
