announce November jaunt
YOUR FLAG
YACHATS—Come join the
Yachats Coastal Gems for the
Depoe Bay Year-round Event
in Depoe Bay on Nov. 1.
Walkers will meet at the
Commons in Yachats at 9 a.m.
to carpool to Depoe Bay, or
meet at the Sea Hag on
Highway 101 in Depoe Bay at
10:15 a.m. to register.
The 10K route is made up of
three separate loops, and walk-
ers can fashion shorter dis-
tances by skipping one or
more loops. There are a few
hills and a short section on
forested trails.
The course is difficult for
strollers or wheelchairs.
Come prepared for whatev-
er the weatherman delivers.
As always, leashed pets are
welcome on walks but be sure
to bring water and clean-up
materials for pets.
A sturdy 6-foot leash is
required (not the retractable
type.)
On Wednesday, Nov 2, the
group will hold its monthly
meeting along with its annual
soup supper at the home of
Gene and Linda Williamson in
Makai.
Dinner will be at 5 p.m., fol-
lowed by the meeting at 6 p.m.
Soups will be provided and
attendees can choose to bring
either a salad or dessert to
share with the group.
Call for directions to the
dinner.
For more information or
directions, call Gene and
Linda Williamson in Seal
Rock at 541-563-6721, or

at 541-961-4279.
