Dave has been with the
department since 1986. He
moved to Oregon in 1970 with
his wife, Sharen. He was a
founding member and Chief of
the Ada/Canary Fire Dept.
Dave retired from U.S. Forest
Service in 2007, allowing him
more time for building
furniture, looking for treasure,
fishing, and archaeology.

Having joined the department
in 2003, Liz works part-time as
a Captian/EMT-I for SVFR,
Emergency Dept. Technician

EMT-Intermediate for Western
Lane Ambulance. Liz is
married to Craig, with one son,
Josh. You’ll find her working
& Volunteering in the
Community in several different
areas, also teaching Fire &
Life Safety, Fire Prevention,
Child Safety Seat Tech &
C.E.R.T Trainer.

Terry Madden
Terry has been married
for 31 years and has
three daughters and two
grandchildren. He has
been in the fire service
since 1991. He is a
carpenter by trade who
enjoys golf, fishing,
music and playing the
drums.

Pete "Boa" Warren
Boa entered the department in
2006, was '07 Recruit of the Year,
'09 FIrefighter of the Year and '12
Officer of the Year. President of a
Transportation Brokerage, he and
his wife Elke, have two children.
"You'll frequently see me riding my
scooter around town. I like to take
care of business from one of the
many great coffee shops here in
Florence. I'm thankful for the
opportunity to once again serve the
community like I did when I was in
the Air Force. Both types of
services create unique bonds which
lasts forever."
Shannon joined the
department in 2009 and
responds from our Clear
Lake Station.

Dept as a dispatcher, Tyler
joined us in 2008. He enjoys
