The Vikings were on the road at
South Umpqua last Friday, where they
fell 40-6 to the Lancers in a game
where the Vikings had only 26 players
in the lineup. Among those missing

The Vikings’ only touchdown came
in the fourth quarter, beginning with a
fumble recovery by freshman Dayson
Foglio on a missed pass by the Lancers.
The recovery gave Siuslaw posses-
sion on its own 40-yard line. From
there, the Vikings strung together eight
plays, with backup quarterback Trent
Reavis claiming 44 yards on three car-
ries. The last five of those yards came
on a keeper by Reavis that brought him

With the Far West District meet little
more than a week away (Oct. 27), the
Viking cross country team will contin-
ue a tradition this Thursday by running
for something other than medals, titles
or even bragging rights.
The Vikings will be running for
brownies.
The annual 3K, hosted by Siuslaw, is
