Tuesday night, Mapleton celebrated
it’s two seniors on the Lady Sailors
volleyball team, Josi Hays and Dana
Halverson, with applause as well as
what was arguably the team’s best per-
formance of the season.
“It was a great way to end the sea-
son,” said Mapleton coach Jesika
Crook. “We didn’t bring home the win
but there were some amazing rallies.”

Simon is a 7-year-old kitty
that is the perfect blend of
playful and couch potato.
He is a pretty laid back guy,
great with other kitties.
Simon is a big lover of
treats and loves a vigorous
scratching on his neck and
ears. Simon likes to play
and will bat the ball back to
you when you play with him.
Hutch has been at our shel-
ter for more than 6 years
and he thinks itʼs about time
that he gets to spend his
golden years in a home of
his very own. Hutch is a
manx and a bit of a loner,
but he will come for pets and
ear scratches when the
mood strikes him. At this
point in his life he is just very content to have a warm
place to lay and birdwatch out the window.
