Notice is hereby given that the Lane County Planning Com-
mission will conduct a Public Hearing on October 18, 2016.
The public hearing will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Council
Chambers, Florence City Hall, 250 Hwy 101, Florence, OR on
the following proposal:
Request for Lane County to Co-adopt amendments to the
Florence Realization 2020 Comprehensive Plan Coastal Goal
and adopt related text amendments to Lane Code Chapter
10 (509-PA16-05276; Ord No. PA1334). The related amend-
ments to Lane Code Chapter 10 include updating all of the
coastal overlay zones in Lane Code Chapter 10.225-10.270 in
order to be consistent with the revised coastal goal policies
and re-zoning of properties to be consistent with new coastal
overlay zone maps. No base zones are being changed.
Request for Lane County to Co-adopt amendments to the
Florence Parks and Recreation Master Plan. (509-PA16-05277;

Request for Lane County to Co-adopt amendments to Chap-
ter 11: Utilities, Facilities, and Services of the Florence Realiza-

by the applicant (Lane County), and the applicable criteria are
available for inspection at no cost at the Land Management
Division. A copy of the staff report will be available for in-
spection at no cost at least one week prior to the public hear-
ing. Copies of these materials will be provided at a
reasonable cost upon request. Following Planning Commis-
sion action, the recommendation and proposed amend-
ments will be considered for adoption by the Board of
County Commissioners.
Written correspondence in regard to the proposed amend-
ments may be submitted to Lane County Land Management
Division, 3050 North Delta Highway, Eugene, OR 97408. Fail-
ure of an issue to be raised in a hearing or in person or in writ-
ing, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the
Approval Authority who conducts the hearing an opportu-
nity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to the Land Use

LANE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
On October 3, 2016, at its regular 6:00 PM meeting in the
Council Chambers at City Hall (250 Highway 101, Florence,
Oregon), the City of Florence City Council will hold a public
hearing to hear testimony from interested persons about a
proposed sale of City property. The property to be discussed
is Lot 30 of the Pacific View Business Park. The City is consid-
ering selling full fee title in the commercial-use property. The
City has no foreseeable use for the property and has had the
property listed for sale since January 2002. At the hearing,
any resident of the City will be given the opportunity to pres-
ent written or oral testimony about the proposed sale. The
agenda for the meeting will be published on the City’s web-
site the Thursday prior to the meeting at
