• Manage subscription sales at kiosk locations and events when appropriate.
• Sell subscriptions to new subscribers via email, phone, mail.
• Drive digital engagement by confirming emails, registering accounts for digital access and
conversations to inform customers of our digital products.
• Identify where/when distribution is too thin or too heavy and make recommendations as
needed.
• Make sure that the delivery areas for all publications are checked on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
• Proactive sales, marketing and customer service skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Highly dependable to all constituents (peers, customers, readers, advertisers).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills internally and with the public.
• High school diploma; education or experience in the newspaper industry preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Safety oriented work ethic.
• Comfortable working in a deadline driven, fast paced environment.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs
• Ability to handle job duties with minimal supervision.
