are the three things you should know before
you begin your search this spring:
1. Credit is still tight but improving.
Mortgage rates are below 4 percent and credit
is more accessible after years of stringent un-

lenders now offer loans with as little as a 3

2. It may take time to fi nd your “dream
home.” The most recent data from the Na-
tional Association of Realtors (NAR) shows
that the supply of existing homes for sale is
insuffi cient, with more buyers competing for
a fewer number of homes for sale than a year

the same limited online listings and brushing
