TO SELL BAKED GOODS
The Ladies of Elks will have its
Rhody Days Pie and Bake Sale. Enter
through the north door of the Elks
Lodge on 12th Street. This year there
will be a few “special” baked goods set
up for a silent auction from 10 to 10:30
a.m. The sale begins at 11 a.m. and will
continue until all items are gone.
This event includes the Ladies of Elks
pies, gourmet desserts, baked goods and
more.
Also, on Saturday and Sunday, there
will be ice cream sundaes for $2 during
the Elks Barbecue Chicken Dinner, 11
a.m. to 4 p.m.
All proceeds go to local charities.
Each choir will be featured in festival
performances from district events.
Favorite songs from musicals and
movies will highlight the evening, along
with recent popular and classic hits.
The concert will be at 7 p.m., at the
Florence Events Center, 715 Quince St.
Admission is free, but donations are
accepted.
