CCOF TO HOST PATRIOTIC CONCERT
The Community Chorus of Florence
will present its spring concert in
shades of red, white and blue at 2 p.m.
at the FEC. The chorus will bring to
the audience a selection of inspiring
patriotic songs.
Adult tickets are $10 and children
under 18 will be admitted free.

The Oregon Coast Chamber
Orchestra will present the season
finale of its 2016 Spring Concert

Florence Garden club will hold its
annual plant sale and raffle from 9
a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Disabled
American Veteran’s building, 1715
21st St.
The plant sale, held the day before
Mother’s Day, offers hundreds of
plants provided by club members in 4-
inch and larger pots, priced from $1.
Many are suitable as Mother’s Day
Class Act Theatre (CAT) are audi-
tioning the part of Gloria — in an
upcoming production of Tom Ziegler’s
“Grace and Glorie” — from 7 to 9
p.m., and Sunday, May 8, from 2 to 4
p.m. at 509 Kingwood St.
A prepared monologue is not neces-
sary, but those auditioning are encour-
aged to borrow a script from the
Siuslaw Public Library or by calling
the Class Act Theatre at 541-997-4815
to check out a script.
