MaryAnn was very talented
and she enjoyed painting, gar-
dening, reading, traveling,
watching birds and taking long
walks on the beach.
She will be truly missed by
family and friends.
MaryAnn is survived by her
husband and best friend,
Larry; son Keith and his
fiancee, Kate Butler; daughter
Kerry; grandchildren: Brandy,
Rileigh and Dane; sister Gail

Toastmasters names Youth Leadership Award winner
Cathy French was honored
at the March 30 meeting of the
Siuslaw Talespinners chapter
of Toastmasters International
with the Youth Leadership
Coordinator award for out-
standing service.
The Youth Leadership
Program is designed to build
self-confidence as well as com-
munication and leadership
skills in children.
French is currently working
toward her Distinguished
Toastmaster status, and she has
been instrumental in working
toward starting a new
Toastmasters club in the
Florence area.
The Siuslaw Tale Spinners
meets at 5:30 p.m. every
Wednesday at the Siuslaw
Valley Fire and Rescue Station,
2625 Highway 101.
