BLUE & GOLD BANQUET Florence-area Cub Scouts Pack 777 celebrates Scouting Anniversary Week this month with an annual “birthday party,” called the Blue and Gold Banquet, set for Saturday, Feb. 6. One of the highlights of the year, the Blue and Gold Banquet is an opportunity to celebrate the anniversary of scouting, to thank pack leaders and other adults who help the pack, and to inspire the leaders, scouts and parents. It is also a time to recognize the achievements of the fifth-grade Webelos as they receive their Arrow of Light awards and advance into one of the local Boy Scout Troops.
