Siuslaw Tax Service adds Jeff Farm to tax team PFLAG to explore library of
Jeff Farm has always enjoyed
the challenge of working with
numbers and budgets. So after a
32-year career working with
Oregon Parks and Recreation
Department, it was a natural
transition for him to become the
newest licensed tax preparer for
Siuslaw Tax Service.
Farm graduated from Oregon
State University in 1976 with a
resource recreation manage-
ment degree and emphasis in
park administration.
Farm spent 25 years in vari-
ous management positions,
acquiring skills in personnel and
conflict management, planning
and execution of various opera-
tional budgets and the prepara-
tion of the overall Operations
Division biennial budget guided
by legislative budget directives.
He served 10 years on the
Committee.
Since retiring in 2010, Farm
volunteered for three years as a
tax preparer for AARP’s volun-
teer income tax assistance pro-
gram, gaining certification in
basic, intermediate, advanced
and military courses.
In 2013, Farm completed the
Pacific NW Tax School, fol-
lowed by passing the state tax
preparer exam before working
for a private tax business.
He is now starting his third
year as a licensed tax profes-
sional and said he looks forward
to working with the Siuslaw Tax
Service team and its clients.
