“Monty Python’s Spamalot”
indicates this musical-comedy
series’ approach. With a score

the saga follows hero Galavant’s
(Joshua Sasse) quest to even the
score with King Richard (“Psych”
alum Timothy Omundson), who
stole his true love (Mallory Jan-
sen). Vinnie Jones also stars in
the “Pilot.” Three more episodes

Cooper Barrett’s
Guide to Surviving Life
Sunday at 8:30 p.m. on KLSR
The post-collegiate world isn’t
what the title character (Jack
Cutmore-Scott, “Kingsman: The
Secret Service”) anticipated in
“How to Survive Your Loveable
Jackass,” this comedy’s pre-
miere. Still seeking the perfect
job for himself, he’s interested
in his neighbor (Meaghan Rath)
and often sought out by his fam-
ily-man brother (Justin Bartha).
Cooper’s roommates (Charlie
Saxton, James Earl) also inspire
him to offer life lessons from his
own perspective.
American Idol
Wednesday at 8 p.m. on KLSR
It’s the beginning of the end for
the competition that brought ini-
tial fame to such talents as Car-
rie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson
and Jennifer Hudson. This 15th
round also is the final one, as
host Ryan Seacrest and judges
Harry Connick Jr., Jennifer
Lopez and Keith Urban launch
one last “search for a super-
star.” As usual, it begins with the
sometimes comical, sometimes
poignant audition episodes. The
two-part season premiere con-
cludes Thursday.
