All-Star students with a special field trip
to the Oregon Coast Aquarium on
Friday, Nov. 13. The All-Stars earned the
trip by following AVID guidelines for
attendance. According to teacher Carrie
McNeill, the Mapleton elementary stu-
dents especially enjoyed visiting the
otters, because otters are the school’s
mascot.
