OBITUARY
HANCOCK—Donald E.
Hancock, 53, of Florence,
passed away Oct. 2, 2015.
Don lived in California
until 2007,
when
he
moved to
Florence.
He had
worked for
Safeway
since
the
age of 16.
He en-
Donald
joyed the
Hancock
Grateful
Dead and his firearms. He
had a great sense of humor
that most people enjoyed and
he will be missed by many.
Don is survived by his
wife, Jamie, and his son,
Mike, both of Florence; his
daughter, Cindy Hancock; his
granddaughter Alexi, of
Peebles, Ohio; and his moth-
er, Pamela Hancock, of
Reedsport.
Don was preceded in death
by his father. At his request,
private cremational rites were
held
through
Burns’s
Riverside Chapel Florence
Funeral Home.
A memorial celebration of
Don’s life will be held at a
later date in his memory.
