Don lived in California until 2007, when he moved to Florence. He had worked for Safeway since the age of 16. He en- Donald joyed the Hancock Grateful Dead and his firearms. He had a great sense of humor that most people enjoyed and he will be missed by many. Don is survived by his wife, Jamie, and his son, Mike, both of Florence; his daughter, Cindy Hancock; his granddaughter Alexi, of Peebles, Ohio; and his moth- er, Pamela Hancock, of Reedsport. Don was preceded in death by his father. At his request, private cremational rites were held through Burns’s Riverside Chapel Florence Funeral Home.
