Toastmasters name new vice president
Theresa Sleeman accepted
the position of vice president
of public relations for
the Siuslaw Tale Spinners
Club,
of
Toastmasters
International, during last
week’s meeting.
Prior to moving to Florence,
Sleeman was a member of a
Toastmasters Club in New
York State.
“When I moved to Florence
I wanted to get back into
Toastmasters, I found the local
club and joined last July,”
Sleeman said. “Toastmasters is
very beneficial for anyone, but
especially for someone who
needs to hone their speaking
skills.”
The Siuslaw Tale Spinners
meet every Wednesday at 5:30
p.m. in the Siuslaw Valley Fire
and Rescue Station on
Highway 101.
