OBITUARY
ROTHWELL —Muriel
Rothwell, 86, of Florence, died
Oct. 2, 2015,
and is now
alive forever
with
her
Savior.
Muriel
was born to
James and
Irene Bush
on Dec. 18,
Muriel
1928, in St.
Rothwell
C l a i r
Shores, Mich. She graduated
from Lakeview High School
and later earned degrees from
Harding College (now univer-
sity) in Arkansas, and from the
University of Arkansas.
She returned to Michigan
and taught at Lakeview High
School until 1968, when she
married her husband of 39
years, Edmund “Rocky”
Rothwell. They lived in San
Jose, Calif., until 1996, when
they retired to Florence.
Muriel was preceded in
death by her parents; a brother,
Wesley Bush; her husband,
Rocky; and two stepchildren.
She is survived by her bro-
ther, Lloyd Bush; three grand-
sons and six great-grand-
children.

mation.
