OBITUARY
medical issues but put up a
fierce battle to his last breath.
Warren was born in Inland,
Neb., in 1926.
During World War II, he
served in the Pacific in the U.S.
Navy.
After the war, Warren moved
to California, where he married
Alva Taylor. In 1972 they
moved to Oregon.
Warren resided in Florence
for more than 30 years. He was
active in real estate and trained
many of the realtors of the
region.
He was very independent
until his last few months. He
reluctantly moved in with his
daughter and son-in-law in
March and his daughter,
Bonnie Ross, did an amazing
job taking care of her dad all
the way to the end.
No man has ever had a
daughter so devoted.
Warren, you will be missed.
He is survived by his chil-
dren: Warren Jr., Clarence and
Bonnie; his grandchildren:
Teza Ross, Warren III, Nancy,
Megan and Ryan Scherich; and
by a great-grandson, Warren
Harry Scherich IV.
Memorial services will be
held at the Ross residence,
3885 NW Highland Drive in
Corvallis, on Saturday, July 18,
at 2 p.m.
