Campfire restrictions start today as temps climb
CORVALLIS — Fire officials have
elevated the risk of wildfires on the
Siuslaw National Forest from “moder-
ate” to “high.” Forest officials also are
enacting restrictions on fire use within
the forest, which went into today, June
27.

The Marketmen of Corvallis may
have come to the coast to beat the heat,
but in Thursday’s doubleheader at
Siuslaw, the Three Rivers Sandblasters
scored Corvallis 14-2 opener.

connected for a pair of hits, with all
three ’Blasters going 2-for-3 at the
plate.
