For the 2015/2016 academic year,
the Lane Community College
Foundaon and LCC Florence
awarded 20 scholarships − totaling
$42,387 − to LCC students residing
in western Lane County. Many of
the scholarships were a result of
generous contribuons from the
Florence community, both private
and commercial. Award
presentaons were held at the
Siuslaw Valley Fire and Rescue
building on Thursday, June 11.
In addion to the recipients’
family and friends, LCC President
Mary Spilde, Execuve VP,
Academic & Student Affairs, Dawn
