der, barbecue and pulled pork.
The first-place winner was
Sunset Grille, which is located
inside Three Rivers Casino
Resort in Florence. Along
with a cash prize, the winners
can claim to have the

Northwest.

first live show at Eugene’s Hult
Center for the Performing Arts.
Three shows will be offered
this fall: a matinee at 2 p.m. on
Oct. 18 in Florence and
evening shows at the Hult
Center in Eugene Nov. 5 and 6.
This year’s show is billed as
“a celebration of Oregon in sto-
ries, songs, images and
s’mores.”
Joining storyteller Welch
will be a musical trio headed by
Eugene Symphony cellist Dale
Bradley and comedic poet
David Perham.
Judy Wenger is the director.
Perham will join Welch at
City Lights, where Welch will
share stories and some DVD
clips from last year’s event.
Perham will offer a few of
his humor-laced poems.
In addition, Welch will have
books on hand to sell and auto-
graph.
