gowns and gloves handmade by one of the grown-up princesses that lives in Eugene. The other princesses are
visiting from Alaska. Lovejoy’s, 195 Nopal St., served chamomile tea and sandwiches to the royal party.
Graamans to perform benefit piano concert
YACHATS — The Friends
of the Yachats Commons
presents the next Milo
Graamans piano concert
from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday,
June 7, at the Yachats
Commons.
This will be a benefit concert
for the Yachats Ladies Club
Kitchen Appliance Upgrade
Fund. The suggested donation
is $10.
Refreshments, provided by
the Yachats Ladies Club, will
be available at intermission.
Graamans grew up in
Yachats and has studied piano
with Jessica Treon of Waldport
since the age of 4.
Graamans will be joined by
guest performers.

Oregon Pacific Bank has
announced the addition of Joe
Benetti to the bank’s board of
directors.
According to the board,
Benetti is a welcome addition,
bringing with him strong oper-
ational, planning and financial
capabilities, as well as commu-
nity minded business expertise.
He officially assumed the
position of director May 19.
Benetti has been a longtime
friend and client of Oregon
Pacific Bank.
Born and raised in Reno,
Nev., Benetti grew up heavily
influenced by his family’s
Italian traditions. He fell in love
with Oregon’s Bay Area during
a trip up the Oregon Coast and
channeled his fondness of
cooking into opening Benetti’s
Italian Restaurant in 1979.
The restaurant is still a
favorite of the Bay Area today
and has built its reputation on
Benetti’s hands-on style and
visibility in the community.
He served on the Oregon
Restaurant Association Board
and was the outgoing chairman
in 2008.
In 2011, he was awarded
the Restaurateur of the Year
award
by
the
Oregon
Restaurant
and
Lodging
Association.
Aside from running a busi-
ness, Benetti has also put in 18
years of public service, serving
on the Coos Bay City Council
from 1998
to 2006 and
as Mayor of
Coos Bay
from 2000
through
2006.

He currently serves on the
Coos County Airport District
board and is the former chair-
man.
He also joined the Coos
