Local photog McDougal to be featured in show
On Friday June 5 and
Saturday June 6, local award
winning nature, scenic and
wildlife photographer Ken
McDougal will be hosting his
first fine art photography show
in Florence.
The event will be held at the
Faith Fellowship, Foursquare
Church, 1624 Highway 101,
(next to A&W).
There will be an artist recep-
tion Friday night, June 5, from
5 to 9 p.m. The public is invit-
ed to come and view many of
McDougal’s photographs and
meet him. There will also be
music, a slide show, food, cof-
fee and refreshments.
The show will continue
Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m.
to 4 p.m.
Admission is free and open
to the public both days.
McDougal has been a pro-
fessional photographer for
nearly 20 years. He is a gradu-
ate of the New York Institute of
Photography. He has won sev-
eral local contests in Florence,
as well as this year’s first place
winning cover photo award for
the 2015 Siuslaw News’ 30th
Annual Business Directory and
Relocation Guide.

member of FRAA.

Spaghetti feed
fundraiser Friday
On Friday, June 5, there will
be a spaghetti feed dinner at
New Life Lutheran Church.
Dinner will be from 4 to 7
p.m. This is a fundraiser for
youths who will be attending
confirmation camp this sum-
mer. Stop and eat before the
Siuslaw High School gradua-
tion.

with homemade meatballs, gar-
