McDougal noticed the graffiti at 6:30 a.m. while out shooting the land- scape. “It's a shame that some people have nothing better in life to do then to vandalize the beauty of our Oregon scenery,” he said. Oregon State Police advise calling non-emergency phone numbers for area law enforcement agencies to report destruction and vandalism of public property. American Cancer Society’s canine-themed event raises awareness and money in the fight against all cancers. Bark for Life will include contests and games such as barnyard agility, nose games and a parade. There also will be trophies, a special demonstration of dog tricks by the Tutrax Pak, raffles every 15 minutes, “Minute to Win It” every 30 minutes and vendors, information booths, demonstrations and more. Musical entertainment will be provided. COURTS Florence Municipal Court May 26 Wayne Raymond Trull pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to two days in Florence City Jail and must report to AMP. He must pay $1,530 in fines and his driver’s license is suspended for one year. Bryan Wayne Beaudro pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to 80 hours of community service and must report to AMP. He must pay $760 in fines and his dri- ver’s license is suspended for one year. Nathan Mark Bastuscheck pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to two days in Florence City Jail and must report to AMP. He must pay $95 in fines and his driver’s license is suspended for one year. Alisha Sue Juliano pleaded guilty to theft.
