Brad has been in law enforcement for over 27 years.
He has been with the Confederated Tribes of Coos,
Lower Umpqua & Siuslaw Indians for over 10 years.
Prior to the Tribal Police Department, Brad was
employed by the Oregon State Police when he left to
work for the Tribal Police Department.
Brian joined the department in early 2014. He has over 9 years
Law Enforcement experience ranging from a Reserve Offi cer and
Communications Offi cer for North Bend, and most recently as a
Tribal Police Offi cer with the Coquille Tribe. Brian is no stranger
to Florence. He was raised here and graduated from Siuslaw High
School.

Doug has been in Law Enforcement for over 20 years. He most
recently joined our team from the Coos County Sherriff’s offi ce.
He served in the Marine Corp, and holds a bachelor’s degree in
Criminal Justice. He is from North Bend, his primary patrol area
will be our Coos Bay tribal lands.

Steve started his law enforce-
ment career as a Reserve
Deputy for the Lane County
Sheriff’s Offi ce in 1983. In
1989, the City of Florence
hired him as a police offi cer.
Steve returned to the Lane
County Sheriff’s Offi ce in
1992. Steve spent a short peri-
od as a Corrections Offi cer
in the Lane County Jail, then
transferred to Police Services.
Steve has worked as a Patrol Deputy, Resident Deputy
and on the Traffi c SafetyTeam. He us currently
assigned to the Marine Patrol Section. Steve enjoys
computers and is an avid runner.
Kerry started in law
enforcement in 1984 and
has worked in undercover
narcotics investigations,
patrol, traffic enforce-
ment, dunes patrol, resi-
dent patrol, and Emergency
Vehicle
Operations
Instructor.
Kerry was assigned to
Florence in 1990 and is
currently the Florence area
Resident Deputy. During his time off, Kerry enjoys
spending time with his family, especially his grand-
daughter Kenzie.
Ed has been with the Lane
County Sheriff’s Offi ce since
1988. He worked
Corrections for 12 years,
worked in the woods on the
Marijuana Eradication
Team, Traffi c Safety Team,
Main Sheriff’s Offi ce Patrol,
and is a fi rearms
instructor. Ed has been the
Florence Dunes Deputy since
2010. In his off
time Ed likes to spend time with family and riding his
motorcycle.
