Josh is a Florence native. He graduated from Siuslaw High
School in 2003 and attended University of Oregon, making
the football team as a walk-on candidate. For several years,
Josh served as the Athletic Director for the Florence Boys
& Girls Club. Josh started with the Police Department as a
Communications Offi cer in 2012; he became a Police Offi cer
in late 2014. He enjoys sports, coaching, being outdoors, and
spending time with family and friends.
Pete came to the Florence Police Department
this year from the Confederated Tribes of Coos,
Lower Umpqua & Siuslaw Indians Tribal Police
Department. He is excited to be serving the citizens
of Florence in his new capacity.

Jan was born and raised in the historic Shenandoah Valley of
Virginia and has been active in Emergency Services since age 16.
Her idols in life are Goofy and Mr. Spock.
Nicole is the newest dispatcher at FPD, starting her employment
in 2015. She was born and raised in Florence and graduated
from Siuslaw High School.

are involved in the local SASS Cowboy Action group/Siuslaw River

Dan moved to Florence in 1979 and graduated from Siuslaw
High School in 1981. His father was a career police offi -
cer. Dan worked in the lumber mills for over 28 years prior
to becoming the Code Enforcement Offi cer for the City of
Florence one year ago.
