“Dottie” Margaret Schwartz,
89, of Florence, passed away
May 9, 2015.
A memorial celebration will
be held at Burns’s Riverside
Chapel Florence Funeral
Home on Thursday, June 4, at
1 p.m.
KNOWLES —Pauline
Knowles, 65, of Florence,
passed away May 13, 2015.
Burns’s Riverside Chapel
Florence Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
ANSITE—George Ansite,
86, of Florence, passed away
May
14,
2015.
George
moved with
his
wife,
Sandy, and
their daugh-
ters to Flor-
ence in fall
of
1965, George Ansite
where he
worked as a salesman at
Johnston Motors and opened
his own business, Buccaneer
Canopies, where he and Sandy
worked until retirement in
1990.
They traveled in their
RV for 10 fun-filled years
before returning to Florence,
where he spent the rest of his
life.
George was preceded in
death by his son, Jack.
He is survived by his wife
Sandra; his children, Terry
Raybould (Rick), Judy Foster
(Joe), and Michael Ansite;
nine grandchildren; seven
great-grandchildren; and one
great-great-grandchild.
George was well loved and
will be missed by many.
Final arrangements are by
Burn’s Riverside Chapel
Florence Funeral Home.
At his request, no services
will be held. The family
requests any memorial dona-
tions be made in his memory
to Peace Harbor Hospice, or
Hubbard’s Retreat, both in
Florence.

The hours are typically
weekdays. Drivers decide
which days and hours they are
willing to help. They can
accept or decline rides any
time.

transport people during dan-
gerous road conditions.
