Davis Carnival
T
here are a lot of sights and
sounds to delight visitors in
historic Old Town during
this year’s 108th annual Rhododen-
dron Festival, starting with the
return of the Davis Shows
Northwest Carnival on the Port of
Siuslaw boardwalk.
The carnival opens Wednesday,
May 13, in the afternoon.
The annual Old Town Vendor Fair
is once again on Maple Street,
between Bay and First streets. It
opens Friday afternoon and runs
through Sunday.
Stroll up and down the street
while sampling and enjoying an
eclectic variety of food and
shopping experiences, such as
fudge, hot dogs, jewelry and more,
plus visit local merchants in and
around Old Town for even more
variety.
This year, the Vendor Fair adds
even more fun and unique booths at
The Shippin’ Shack, at 625
Highway 101, on Saturday and
Sunday.
