Rose delivery will be April 29, either at the recipient’s home or work. Proceeds fund scholarships awarded to local students. Youth wash cars today for camp funds The Florence Evangelical Church is raising money to send youth to camp this sum- mer by washing cars today, April 11, for donations. Kids will be washing cars in the Oregon Pacific Bank park- ing lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting. The church is raising camp money through several fund- raisers and a grant from Western Lane Community Foundation. A rummage sale, Saturday, May 2, at the church, will be the next fundraiser. “Guided Speech Evaluations,” starts at 1:30 p.m. Admission is free and the public is invited. In addition to exhibiting flowers, rhododen- drons and azaleas will be for sale. The exhibit will include azaleas, rhododendrons and Bon-sai. The show is free and open to the public. Times will be from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. HAM exams April 18 The Central Oregon Coast Amateur Radio Club will host an FCC license exam session on Saturday, April 18, for those interested in obtaining or upgrading their Ham Radio license.
