REUSABLE DISHWARE PROGRAM
Save Money & Help Th e Planet With Durable Dishware Program
According to the
Clean Air council,
“Every year Americans
throw away enough
paper products, plastic
cups, forks and spoons
to circle the equator
300 times.” In 2008, Paper products, (cardboard, newsprint and offi ce
paper) made up 31% of municipal waste in our landfi ll. Why not save
money and the environment by using durables this spring with reusable
dishware and place settings from Florence Master Recycler’s Durable
Dishware Rental Program.
Th e Florence Master Recyclers have put together kits of 150 place
settings of plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery and even cloth napkins for free
rental to the general public. If your event is outdoors, there’s even a
mobile washing station for your needs. We can accommodate a group
as small as a dozen and up to 150, with some holiday themed settings
complete with platters and serving spoons. So, why not do the right
thing by going green this spring and save a ton of money in the process.
To learn more about the Durable Dishware Program and to reserve a
free rental call 541-590-0506. Florence Master Recyclers are a non-profi t
volunteer organization supported by Lane County Waste Management.
