Rick started his real estate career with his father at Van Cox Real
Estate Co. in Wichita, Kansas in 1965. He came to work at Coast
real Estate in 1977 and has witnessed and participated in the
growth of Florence ever since. He and physician Clare Brien live
among the forest in a rural coastal cabin. He is chairman of Peace
Harbor Hospital Governing board and a 25+ year Rotarian.
Born & raised on the Oregon Coast, Alice knows that the Florence area is
a great place to retire or raise a family. You can raft the lakes, fish the river,
ride the dunes or just relax and watch the sunset over the ocean. She is a
grandma of 3, PTA president, Siuslaw School District employee 29 years,
retired Volleyball coach and very proud to be a part of the Coldwell Banker
Coast Real Estate Team. “I would love to help you find your own piece of
our local paradise. And remember, It’s another beautiful day on the Oregon
Coast”.
A native Oregonian, born in Oregon City and
raised on the coast. Chuck migrated to Ventura
County in southern California in 1962, founded
and managed Channel Islands Amusement, a coin
operated music, amusement and vending compa-
ny. After selling the business in 2000, Chuck
moved to Florence and settled down. In his spare
time he enjoys cooking, reading, woodworking
and his one real passion, restoring old jukeboxes.
Mike and Wanda Johnson moved to Florence from Santa Cruz, California in 1980. When people ask how they could leave Santa
Cruz, they say that Florence reminded them of Santa Cruz when they were kids. Mike’s early years were spent in west Eugene,
however, where his family owned a cherry orchard. He dreamed of moving to Florence from that time. Mike is a General Contractor
as well as a Broker. Wanda and Mike bring 40 years of joint business ownership and management with them, specializing in com-
mercial as well as new construction and residential sales. Mike and Wanda have a personal and thorough knowledge of the local
and surrounding area.

For the past eight years Coldwell Banker Coast Real Estate clients

Karin moved to her dream place in December 2013
after working in the corporate world of the SF Bay
Area and the Rogue Valley. She had wanted to move
to Florence for the past 10 years, and her life’s path
finally brought her here. She loves everything about
this great town from the beach to the lakes, and her
dogs enjoy the area too! Also, the more laid back
environment and the team at Coast Real Estate is a
real plus!

Mary has lived in Florence for over 35 years with

family all lives nearby, which she is thankful for.
