A chilling phone call, an alien invasion
and a deadly game of Russian roulette
were all overheard in Florence last week-
end when Florence Radio Theater
presented three live readings from the
classic radio series, “Suspense!”, at
Kenneth B Gallery in Old Town. These
terrifying stories, “Sorry, Wrong

Number,” Ray Bradbury’s “Zero Hour”
and “The Game,” were brought to life Feb. 20 and 21 by (top, from left) organizer Jared Anderson and local
actors Meg Spencer, Grant Harmond, Kayla Rose, Jim Wellington, Haylee Cole, Elizabeth Rose and narrator
San Francisco Jack (not pictured). Above, Spencer gives a bloodcurdling scream while playing a woman who
listens in on a murder plot over the telephone in “Sorry.” Gallery owner SK Lindsey and Anderson hope to
continue the live radio theater with other stories throughout the year.
