Dance was enjoyed by all.
A full dinner of chicken cor-
don bleu and champagne was
served to 42 residents and
guests.
Marty Adams provided back-
ground music during dinner.
Live DJ Dan came on from 6
to 7. Diners sang along to
karaoke.
The portable dance floor,
rented from Florence Events
Center, was enjoyed by resi-
dents and guests alike.
There were some smooth
moves from first place couple
Lucille Illsley and Jay
Cushman, and second place,
Terri and Don Milligan. The
winners received bottles of
champagne.
Anna Villasenor won the raf-
fle for a gift basket, loaded with
gift certificates, a red teddy
bear and a few other romantic
touches.

stage on Feb. 27 at 7 p.m., at
the Florence Events Center.
Performing all eras of
Beatles music in their original
key, wearing drainpipe trousers
and playing authentic instru-
ments, Yesterday — The
Beatles Tribute has performed
on five continents.
Beginning with the British
Invasions in 1964, the mop-
tops from Liverpool began the
first wave of Beatlemania. The
Beatles forever changed the
face of pop music with such
songs as “Hard Day’s Night,”
“Help,” “I Wanna Hold Your
Hand,” “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely
Hearts Club Band,” and

Center,

Inn.
Tickets are now on sale from
the Florence Events Center box

Ticket prices are $24 for
adults and $19 for students
ages 18 and under.

capes for kids
Siuslaw News is asking for
help with the upcoming Green
Fair. In the spirit of recycling,
Siuslaw News is seeking
donated fabric material from
the community that can be
used to make capes for kids
attending the Florence Green
Fair.
Anyone who has material
that is at least a yard in length
and has some type of green
color can donate it by drop-
ping it off at Siuslaw News,
148 Maple Street in Florence.
