OBITUARY
DONAGHEY—Margie Francis
Estes Donaghey, 85, formerly of
Florence, passed
away peacefully
Feb. 11, 2015, after
complications from
a long battle with
Parkinson’s
Disease.
Margie was born
on Aug. 21, 1929,
in Chandler, Okla.
Margie
Margie was the
Donaghey
oldest of seven
children. She lived much of her adult
life in small towns along the Southern
Pacific RR Line that runs between
Roseville and Truckee, Calif., but

resided longest in Roseville, Calif.
She moved to California shortly
after her marriage to the love of her
life, Roy Donaghey (1923-1985).
Margie also lived in Florence for
about 15 years, where she worked
with her son and daughter-in-law
helping them manage Northwest T-
shirt Company.
Family remembers Margie being
an adventurous, brave, kind and lov-
ing woman who was a great artist and
craftsperson, and who always had a
soft twinkle in her eye, a big smile
and arms ready to hug anybody in
need.
Margie is survived by her three
children: Lois Donaghey (John) of
Santa Rosa, Calif.; Roy E. Donaghey
(Carolyn) of Florence, Ore.; and
Jois Brock (Rick, deceased) of Reno,
Nev.; her sisters Harriett Haines,
Ellen Welton and Ethel South; her
brother Frank Estes; grandchildren:
Cole,
Lyssa,
Jayme,
Chad,
and Darien; nine great-grand-
children; and one great-great-grand-
son.
She was preceded in death by her
husband, Roy; and two brothers: Sam
Estes and Corkie Estes.
Margie’s family was her pride and
joy, and they will love her eternally.
Services for Margie will be
held Feb. 23, at Lambert Funeral
Home in Roseville, Calif.

Olivia Hier and Kenton Burns
have announced their engagement to
be married Nov. 14, 2015, at the Vue
in Corvalis, Ore.
Olivia is the daughter of Jim and
Renette Hier of Tigard, Ore.
Kenton is the son of Alan and Karen
Burns of Florence.
The couple met at their alma mater,
Oregon State University.
The future bride received her
degree in merchandising management
and is employed by Siuslaw Bank in
Florence.
Her fiance graduated with a degree
in forest management, and is
currently employed with the U.S.
Forest Service in Waldport.

ing a tip that
led to two

arrests.
Raybould
An OSP trooper received an
anonymous tip that one of two
suspects involved in the
robbery was in the Florence
area.
The trooper was able to
determine the name and
location of one of the
suspects, identified as Gage S.
Miller, 21, of Florence,
who was already in custody
on unrelated charges in the
Florence Police Department
Jail.
During the interview of
the
suspect,
additional
information was developed
that led investigators to deter-
mine the identity and
location of the second suspect.
The
second
suspect,
identified as Timothy D.
Raybould, 22, also of
Florence, was located at a
Florence-area residence on
Feb. 6.
Both Raybould and Miller
were
arrested
and
transported to the Jackson
County
Jail
pending
charges for robbery in
the first and second deg-
rees.
OSP was assisted in
the
investigation
by
the Eagle Point Police
Department, Jackson Coun-
ty District Attorney’s Office
and the Florence Police
Department.
