‘Black and White’ exhibit at FRAA Art Center
The public is invited to
visit the Florence Regional
Arts Alliance’s (FRAA) Art
Center to view its newest
exhibit, “Black and White.”
White is the reflection of
all color, and black is the
absorption of all color.
Though not technically
part of the “color wheel,”
black and white help artists
get tints and shading into
their colors.
This stunning exhibit will
immediately catch the view-
er’s eye as they enter the
gallery.
Art works include pho-
tography, ink drawings,
pencil, watercolor, collage,
acrylic, oil, scratch board,
poetry
and
jewelry.
Artists participating in
this exhibit are: Charles

The next goal for the city is

Patterson hopes to hire the
new chief by May or June.
“Now that we have made a
decision on the city manager
position, we will begin the
recruiting process,” he said.

with watercolor to a workshop
titled “Making Friends with
Watercolor.”
The workshop is Sunday,
Jan. 25, from 2 to 5 p.m., at

This will be an introductory
workshop offering an explo-
ration of beginning methods
and various techniques of
watercolor painting.
