Board meets today
West Lane Translator, Inc.,
a a not-for-profit organization
providing free television and
radio re-transmission to the
Florence area, and a new non-
commercial radio station
KXCR, will hold a board
meeting Wednesday, Jan. 21,
beginning at 6:30 p.m., in the
Bromley Room at the Siuslaw
Public Library.

Port of Siuslaw
meets tonight
The Port of Siuslaw Board
of Commissioners will hold its
regular
meeting
on
Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 7 p.m.,
at the port office, 100 Harbor
Street.

meets Saturday
The Central Oregon Coast

birthday with bash
Big Biondi’s Birthday Bash
will take place Sunday, Jan.
25, at the Travelers Cove
Restaurant, 1362 Bay St.,
where he has been peforming
for 15 years. The celebration
begins at 9 p.m. and will
include other birthday celebra-
tions. Biondi is also celebrat-
ing that his second bout with
cancer is in remission.

place Jan. 26, beginning at
11:30 a.m., at the Florence
Elks Lodge.
Admission to the event will
be $12, with lunch provided
by the Elks Lodge’s chefs
promptly at noon.
There will also be door
prizes, a raffle and table

items will be accepted at that
time for Mapleton Food Share.
