Wm. Conrad's house caught fire
around the pipe Monday morning

turned from a trip to Enterprise,
Sunday.
Virgil Ghormley was in the com
munity the first of the week visit
ing with friends. He has been
working near Lewiston for several
months and was going to his claim
in the Powatka countr'.
James Conrad went to Lost
Prairie the first of the week after a
cow that he had purchased of Mr.
Lock.
Pearl Rimel has been assisting
Rev. Smith to finish up pictures
taken over in the Grouse country.

day. Thomas Hitt went to the county
seat and back last week.
George Lightle and Ed. Renfrow
were up from Lost Prairie Saturday.
George Cannon, Lincoln Austin
and James Sewell attended the
county convention last week as

James Burner was helping Wm.
Fordney of Lost Prairie with his
farm work last week.
John Koch, the Grouse merchant
was in town last Tuesday.
Mrs. William McCa ll was quite
silk last week. Dr. Seely was in
attendance.
Mr. Spires of Sheep Springs is

Dave Kuhn and Dan Rolls came
In from Lewiston with freight for
Baker & Piake Sunday.
Frank Heskett was in from Leap
for a few days last week buying
pelts, hides and old rubber.
Wm. Fordney and Willis Wright
go to the county convention this
week as delegates from the Lost
Prairie precinct, Frank Johnson
and Frank Applegate from Flora,
and W. C. Wilson and William
Applegate from Paradise

T. F. Rich with the help of his
grandson, has nearly finished
pruning hie orchard.
We are informed that a saw mill
is to be added to the list of enter
prises of the Park.
Since the stock came in on the
winter range last fall, there has
been a very light loss of sheep, 2
per cent of cattle, 1 per cent of
horses.

Friday evening a jolly crowd
gathered at the residence of M. P.
Thompson and spent the time in
the usual enjoyment of the Park
ite gatherings.
The Democratic primary went
off smoothly. T. O. Marks and W.
F. Gilluspie were elected delegates
to the county convention.
