Gilbert Waite and Public Relations Offieer, and the committee
chairman, Lt. George Godfrey in making arrangements for the
flag raising ceremony and party which took place on May 25.
Left to right they are Lt. Leonard Merrill who had charge
of the parade ground arrangements, Lt Walter Sindlinger who was
in charge of entertainment and the banquet, and Lt: Bernard
Schwarz and Lt. Aaron Lopatin who assisted Lt. Sindlinger.

Corvallis Playground
Program Needs Women
As Instructors
Wives of army officers stationed
at Camp Adair, who would be in­
terested in assisting with the Cor­
vallis Playground Program, for six
weeks commencing June 21, are
asked to contact the playground
committee members.
Women who can instruct in arts
and crafts (i.e. pottery), painting
and sketching, puppetry, dramatics,
tap-dancing, tumbling, or related
recreational suhjects are urgently
needed.
The playground appropriation is
limited but there will be a small
financial revenue for those par­
ticipating.
The program starts June 21 and
lasts through July 29. For further
information, contact either Mrs. D.
J. Willson, Route 1, Box 150 (phone
Corvallis 26-F-2) or Mrs. F. A. Gil-
