Girls Join the WAACs
Not you, soldier, but your wife
or girl friend:
Want to join the WAACs? If so,
Lt. Lilian Garrick (who is, by the
way, a direct “scioness” of the
famed actor David Garrick), is at
the Senator Hotel, Salem, for a
full week in the interest of signing
up recruits.
Feel free to call her any time
either at the Hotel Senator or the
recruiting station at Salem Post
Office.
“Women may remember.” said
Lt. Garrick, “that you may do
much to speed the return of your
husbands by getting in and pitch
ing now.”
