cards of the season Friday night,
when the Seagulls and the Moun­
taineers threw leather at each other
for 35 rounds of fast fighting. The
Seaguls took the nod in most of the
nine bouts at Salem Armory, spon­
sored by Capitol Post of the Amer­
ican Legion.
In the main event, Seaguller

close decision over Johnny Ser-

middleweight class. In the opening­
round Mountaineer Sermino drove

was victorious in a three-way meet
