Although the club was nosed out in the finals by a one to nothing score at the hands of the Butler and Son aggregation from Portland, no less than five of the camp speed sters were named on all-state selec tions. Harvey Griffen, camp hurler, was voted the outstanding pitcher of the tournament. Those named all-state in addi tion to Griffen, were Warren Perry man, catcher; George Crowne, third base; Dick Landis, utility in fielder, and Patrick Kennedy, util ity outfielder. Griffen, in pitching 31 inn^gs, allowed just three hits, one earned run and struck out 72. That's hurling, brother. Corvallis Army Store Will Close Saturday Four Builders.
