The Department consists of two h.mrl engines and hooks, ladders and trucks. 9fi members of tbe engine companies, and 40 members of the hook A ladder company, making a total of 138 men. The Depart ment is divided into two band engines and one hook A ladder truck, all of which are doing duty. BOSK. COXDITIOf OP APPARATUS. All the apparatus in the Department is in good condition, with the exception of fifty feet of hose, and No. 2's bosecart. I would earnestly recommend that immediate action be taken to purchase a good and sufficient bose cart fur said company. hocses.
