cessfully in hundreds of cases. It will
prevent or cure smallpox though the
pits are filling. When Jenner dis
covered cowpox in England the world of
science hurled an nyalanche of fame
upon his head; but when the most
scientific school of medicine in the
woild, that of Tans, published this
recipe as a panacea for smallpox it
itaHBod unheeded. It is as unfailing as
fate conquers in every instance. It is
harmless when taken hy a well person.
It will also cure scarlet (ever. Here it
is as I have nsed it to cure my children
of scarlet fever; here it is aa I have
used it to cure the smallpox. When
learned physicians said the patient must
die it cured : Hulphate of sine, one
firnin; foxglove (digitalis), one grain;
islf a teaspoonful of sugar; mix with
two tablespoonfula of water. When
mixed add four ounces of water and
take a tabl8spoonful every hour. Either
disease will dtsapiear in twelve hours.
