All ex parte evidence filed after the close of the bearing in contested land cases before local land officers, must be rejected, except as a basis for an application for a new bear ing. All documents, all exhibits filled in the case after the same has passed beyond tLe jurisdiction of the Gen eral Land Oilice, must be passed up on by the department proper, and no paper thus tilled should be reject ed by the General Land Office.
