tives, taking up the line of inquirv opened
years ago by Thk Sux, will sternly and
diligently investigate the corruptions and
misdeeds of Orant's administration; and,
will, it is to be hoped, lay the foundation
for a new and better period in our nation

nishing its readers with early and trust
worthy information upon these absorbing

The twenty-third Presidential election,
with the preparations for it, will be mem
orable as deciding upon Orant's aspira
tions for a third term of j ower and plun

be tlie candidate of the party of Re form,
and as electing that candidate. Concern
ing all these subjects, those who read The

ing thoroughly well informed.
