Examinations covering the entire course were taken by the following class members: Mesdames Letha King, N. P. Bennet, W. S. Payne, S. J. Culley and H. Goodwin. A num ber of young women, students of the High school, also participated in the test. Tho Epworth League of the M. E. Church, South, held an interesting business and social meeting in the church parlors last Friday evening. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: President, Theo dore Walden; vice president, Mina Price i secretary, Walter Rayborn; treasurer, Mrs. Will S. Price. Fitspatrick was the scene Saturday morning of a charming May day breakfast in honor of the Senior cluss of Weston High school and their advisor, Miss Lurline Brown, served by the Misses Edna Hollen brckand Frank Harris Davis. Class colors of yellow and green appeared in house and table decorations, and were emphasised in the delicacies upon the bil of fare. Those present pronounced it a novel and delightful affair. At the conclusion of the re past, the class proceeded to Pendle ton to witness the county athletic meet Joe Cannon of Athena went out this week with a combination truck and car of the Dodge manufacture, from the Weston garage.
