Jack Calder has rejoined his wife
and little daughters in Weston, af
ter .seven months of service in the
Canadian army as sapper in the Sec
ond Engineer depot, with headquar
ters at Toronto. He was trans
ferred to Toronto from Vancouver,
and was in line for overseas, ser
vice when the armistice was sign
ed. After seeing practically every
large Canadian city Jack came
home by way of Chicago. Weston
still looks good to him, however,
and he says he Is back to stay. He
says the Canadian government ac
cords handsome treatment to its
soldiers. . - ; .
