adopted a method that works well
ami bids fair to save their crops.
They are cutting with a header,
and have rigged up an attachment
to h wagon rack whereby each load
is dumped into the field and makes
a satisfactory shock. The women
help the men in the gleaning.
W. E. Lytle came in Sunday from
his homestead near Midvale, Idaho,
to work for awhile at the Blue
Mountain fruit box factory. Wal
lace is an expert in this line of em
ployment, which he followed for
years, and responded to an urgent
summons from Manager Avery. He
reports short crops of grain this
year in his section, but expresses
entire faith in its future. He is
raising alfalfa as well as grain, and
has a small dairy herd.
