There is room here for one more of each kind of business. Aa Astonisblnz Fact. A large portion of the American people are to-day suffering from the effects of Dypepsia or disordered liver. The result of these dis eases upon the masses of intelligent and val uable people is most alarming, making life actually a burden instead of a pleasant exist ence of enjoyment uad usefulness as it ought to he. There is no cood reason for this, if you will only throw aside prejudice and skep ticism, take the advice of druggists and your friend, and try one bottle of Green's August riower. Your speedy relief is certain. Mil lions of bottles of this medicine have been given away to try its virtues, with satisfact ory results in every case, ion can buy i saiiible liottle for 10 cents to try. Three doees will relieve the worst case. Positively sold by all druggists on the Western Conti nent. FROM MILTOX. ? MlLTOX, Oct. 12th, 1S80. EJltort Leader : Gentlemen : When a timid person like your correspondent deviates so far from one's custom ns to attempt a newspaper correspond ence, and finds the effort pounced upon by such an uncouth name as "Suggs," the desire to know who said "Suggs" is, is natural. Even if his letter had not been dated from Washington Avenue 1 would have made a pretty good guess at the author. Be my sur mise right or wrong I desire to apologize to "Suggs." Ho says my article "bamboozled his mind." I am very sorry. It is evident that he is in earnest; for his whole reply is in dicative of mental bamboozlement of the worst type. It is really too bad about "Suggs," and I am ever so sorry I wrote that naughty arti cle. "Suggs" talks incoherently aboutAVeb- ster, Greeks, Muses, hounds. Parson Brown, Sister Smith, torn cats and Morpheus; but never says a word about the sham admiration of music. He tells us of his owu honest ad miration of caterwauling, even when laboring under the erroneous impression that a feline concert is expressive of pain, sorrow or re venge, but says nothing of the moral obliquity of pretending to appreciate what we neither understand nor enjoy. But he is slightly ironical, and calls me a "musical paragon," and asks me to "strike the dividing line be tween the good and bad music." Judging from his la-t sentence "Sugss" strikes it some where between here and Weston. But as merely wrote this to apologize to "Suggs," and to express my sympathy for Mrs. "Suggs' during her husbands mental bambonzleinent. and to hope that "Suggs" neighbors did not suffer from "Suggs" concerts of high toned cats, I will not further notice the production of his bamboozled mind, for who can minister to a mind bamboozled? Yours truly, Staccato. The annual Conference of the M. E. Church, South, met in Weston, on Wednesday Oct. 4th 1880. In the absence of Bishop D. S.
